Glamour and glitz lit up The Burlington Hotel* at the Irish Contact Centre & Shared Services Awards 2013. The black tie event celebrated achievements of companies, individuals and teams that are leading the industry. There were 19 awards spanning from Best Customer Acquisition to Contact/Shared Services Agent of the Year.
The event was streamed live and gained momentum during the evening's proceedings as #ccmalive was trending. Tweets were being scrolled on screens adding to the entertainment.

Over 600 professionals made up the lively audience. Hosted by 98FM's Dermot Whelan he observed that there was more than one CCMAs and that indeed we were not attending the Canadian Country Music Awards - phew!
Scorebuddy sponsored the Best Quality Programme Award and presented it to this years judges choice New Ireland Assurance. The life assurance company built their framework around three strong pillars: training, development, and quality control together with a robust complaint management system. They also adopted branded initiatives including a ‘Going for Gold’ programme to encourages front line staff to share innovative ideas and efficiencies.
The big winner on the night was PayPal who won the Best Contact Centre of the Year as well as 3 other awards and two highly commended recognitions.
Minister for Communication, Energy & Natural Resources; Pat Rabbitte was delighted to be there and spoke about the importance of the sector and the impact it makes to the Irish economy. A raffle was held in aid of Childline to date CCMA has donated over €10,000 to Childline from the Awards.
